Talking of staff training, am referring to both newly employed and existing employees; of course, training is paramount to the life of every goal-oriented organization. No organization with a sense of direction, dare springs up without a purpose to be fulfilled. Thus, the excess of training cannot be underestimated in an organization. Training helps to sustain organizational goal.
This brings us to the vision and mission statements of an organization.

VISION AND MISSION STATEMENTS WHICH ONE COMES FIRST?

The excess of vision and a mission statement cannot be underrated; the issue of which one comes first has been a controversy for management students.
According to a publication on differn.com in its reviews, it is clear that for a new start-up business, a new strategy or plan to awaken their current services or productions, the vision statement will be formulated first as it will

determines the direction for the mission statement and the rest of the strategic plan of the organization.




On the other hand, where we have an already established business where the mission is established, often the mission determines the direction for the vision statement and the rest of the strategic plan for the future of the organization.

VISION STATEMENT

A Vision statement actually outlines where the organization wants to be in the nearest future. The Vision statement communicates both the purpose and values of your business.

In actual sense, this will determine the right people to recruit and the basis of continuous training and forms of training that are necessary for both new and existing staff, if they must actualize the set goal(s) timely as speculated in a vision statement.

MISSION STATEMENT

 On the other hand, a Mission statement talks about how an organisation tends to get to where it wants to be. Defines the purpose and primary objectives related to your customer needs and team values.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VISION AND MISSION STATEMENTS

VISION statement emphasizes on WHERE, for instance: it answers the question, “Where do we aim to be?” A vision statement talks about the organizational future.

Whereas, MISSION stresses WHO, for instance, the mission statement answers the question, “What do we do? What makes us different?” A mission statement talks about the present leading to its future. In other words, Mission is the activities base of vision. A mission statement talks about the present leading to its future.
Vision is the future itself, an end product of mission.        

STAFF TRAINING

Training is the act and process of teaching a higher or low animal particular skill. This is to say, training is in the form of organized activity designed and aimed at imparting knowledge to improve participant’s task performance.
According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia training and orientation are use to mold employees to the culture of the organization. If an organization wants its employees to be effective and efficient in a given task, so it must embed training and development in its culture.

Getting result is a major part of the organization and getting result on time is a vital avenue for organizational growth. This is to say, training is very crucial for organizational survival, growth and profitability.Though it’s most times seen expensive, in the long run, its footprint benefits stand the test of time.
